We are delighted to welcome Clare de Bathe as a patron of the Save Tangmere Tower campaign.

Clare is Museum Director at the Weald & Downland Living Museum, leading strategy, operations, fundraising and visitor experience for one of the UK’s most celebrated open-air museums. She works with a dedicated team to safeguard a nationally significant collection.
Previously, as Chief Executive of Chichester Community Development Trust for over a decade, Clare drove the charity’s vision and mission, creating opportunities and spaces where community enterprise could thrive. She opened doors to projects, people and ideas that enabled events, activities and individuals to grow, learn and connect. With a background in law, public sector roles at HMRC and the National Criminal Intelligence Service, and extensive voluntary sector governance experience, Clare brings strategic leadership, business development, asset management and fundraising expertise. At CCDT she raised over £12m and secured £5m in delivering community assets, working alongside excellent teams, trustees, partners and stakeholders, and mentoring individuals and start-ups to create lasting community impact.
